Janie Fitzgerald | Founder
Janie Fitzgerald is a VR photographer and creative technologist specializing in immersive media. A pioneer in interactive 360-degree imaging, she was one of the first few professional photographers to ever shoot in the immersive format in the very beginning. Originally learning 360 production from the Apple engineers who created the 360-degree format, she was commissioned to make interactive VR projects for the original showcase for Apple’s groundbreaking release of QuickTimeVR in 1995. A creator in the middle of the tight knit 360 VR community, she’s known for her innovative work, capturing unique environments all around the world. From the UNESCO sites such as The Acropolis to the landmark Carnegie Hall, she has worked on many extraordinary projects. As immersive technology has evolved, she has continued to explore her original concepts and creative work using technologies, NeRF, Ai-Assisted media, and generative Ai.
